STORY:

1896, Great Britain: Henry Wood, a journalist who heard rumours of a village, that supposedly had undergone a curse, gets curious enough to check out the place for his latest anticipated newspaper story. Bringing Jacob, his nephew, coach boy, and intern journalist, and his friend and escort, Lieutenant Samuel Miller, on his trip to Hegis in order to uncover the truth.
However, he soon finds this to be a mistake and that he put his companions and himself in grave danger!

GAMEPLAY:

Hegis' Grasp is a story-driven and atmospheric survival-horror game. The mysterious backstory of the Daemonis curse will be unravelled through notes from the past and events, which the protagonist, Henry Wood, a curious news writer looking to find out what recently changed in the once peaceful village, experiences as he makes his way through this cursed place. It's up to him to choose how the story ends, but first, he must unseal the secret of the Daemonis.

A Sick Atmospheric Horror Game

Feature

You may remember the demo of our survival horror game "Captive in Devil's Village" from last year's Halloween. Our decision was to spend another year working on this project to improve every aspect of it.

Now the time has come to let you experience the result!

Introducing: Hegis' Grasp

1896, Great Britain: Henry Wood, a journalist who heard rumours of a village, that supposedly had undergone a curse, gets curious enough to check out the place for his latest anticipated newspaper story. Bringing Jacob, his nephew, coach boy, and intern journalist, and his friend and escort, Lieutenant Samuel Miller, on his trip to Hegis in order to uncover the truth.

I played the demo from somewhere. It's a great start but could use a little more mood to the horror.

Yea I still have a long path to go for it to really express the deep story. Great video.

I'm not sure if what is shown in the trailer is like a brisk walk or a run, which indicates there is a problem already. Furthermore, the upper body half of that "run" cycle is terrible, especially if you're going to use it for a cinematic like that. His head just bobbles from side to side and the torso is just completely static. The arms appear to be pumping but only half way, they never seem to go out in front, or perhaps it's just the perspective. You should also give him some expression with shape keys. If you want to portray that he's terrified he shouldn't have some blank, neutral look the whole way through.

I will say for a mobile game, the outside environment looks fairly well detailed. The interior could use some help, it is looking rather bland aside from some dirty textures.

Though more on the trailer cinematic itself, I don't even understand what is happening. The character runs/briskly walks into this barn(?) for no apparent reason, keeps moving for a few seconds, then suddenly turns on a dime and just leaves?

"Others went insane when they heared the name Hegis."

"to write a detailed documentation about this unknown place."

Documentation implies a manual for using a product. A better word would be "reconnaissance". For example, "to carry out reconnaissance of this unknown place".

"Third person controller inspired by RE4"

Not a selling point, a controller system for moving the player character is the bare minimum you need.

Sorry for the late reply.
Thanks for your feedback I have corrected the mistakes and significantly improved the description.

About your statement:
"I'm not sure if what is shown in the trailer is like a brisk walk or a run, which indicates there is a problem already. That's only the perspective 'cause the camera was attached to the upper body. The animations are all motion captured and were made by Adobe Mixamo.
