So the basic code for the buoyancy seems complete or are you planning on adding some more functionality to it? I can't really think of anything at the moment because you've basically covered all of the aspects of weight and buoyancy!

Now it comes down to encapsulating it all on a new class and making a mechanism to allow a modeller to add an XML file to define their ship in the game. Next comes being able to make changes to the mass objects and their locations/weight upon changes in the game (damage, cargo, cannons, crew, etc).
