Hearts of Oak: Conquest of the Seas is a non-commercial PC game being developed by PiratesAhoy!, and is to become the historical seafaring game to end them all! I'm surprised on how low you kept the poly count! Yes most of the details aren't there and those things bump up the poly count big time but this looks very smooth and sharp, my compliments to the creator!:)
I totally agree with you! Wish my models had that quality :D
Keep in mind that the model isn't even close to being finished. There's a lot of detail to add there.
Jhonny44 - Thank you! I think some of our other modellers might say I've been *too* conservative. Haven't worked on this one in a while, but hopefully I'll have more to show soon.
With 74's, I think being conservative with detail is a good thing. Once we start on the Napoleonic period, those things are going to be the predominant ships in every large fleet by a large margin. Especially the derivatives of the Bellona Class. In other words, they'll be everywhere, and in large numbers.
