Work in progress demo of our new game Haunted Mansion. Still a long way off completion, but the game gives a bit of an insight into what it's all about. Important tips are read the instructions, and if you find the game running too slow check the graphics quality in the game options menu. The real time lighting can sometimes give quite a hit on older machines! And remember this is under half way through the game's development so there will be some quirks and bugs here and there. Would love to hear people's views on the current version of the game though. It's taken a long time to get the balance right between the adventure and shooter side of things but we always like feedback so we can tweak things to how people would prefer them.
We will be making an update in the next few days with the system opened up so you can view the new areas with cut scenes added (although no voice acting completed as yet).
Hopefully in the next few weeks the main mansion itself will be completed then more work will be done on the next stage which will be an under world section, possibly in caves but this is still on the drawing board bouncing ideas around at this stage.

consider this: dont you think that its so unrrealistic if in every situation of your life, you would have a fire gun in every place of the world ?
dont you think its better that, in the situation, everything you can see is a weapon ?
I think you should do just melle weapons with a revolutionary gameplay.
dont consider this as a bad comment,but as a constructive one,to help you make this game better and better by the time, as you wished a good and constructive comment,here it is :)

We have been thinking of some kind of either hand to hand or hand-held weapon to replace the guns, another plan for later is possibly losing the guns at a point in the game.
We're looking into how to do it well at the minute but I guess there's nothing to stop you from breaking a chair and using it's leg to beat back a baddie with ;)
I doubt we'll get that part put in for the next release, but rest assured it will be added at some point in the near future.
