I made a pack of models with the grunts, putting the classic colors of the vanilla model in the OP4 and HD versions made by Gearbox, I also improved the original model of the grunt made by Valve.
Well, there is much to clarify.

Specifications that I did with each one:
-Valve Grunt Vanilla Model: With them it was complicated, since their model is ... weird, and not just because it has few polygons. I tried to eliminate the exaggerated proportions making it look more realistic, I also changed the head of the Headmask for a better one, made by Armael, in the credits I will specify the addon, I also joined his arms more to the body, since they were separated, and in some animations it was too noticeable. More than that I did not do much more.
-Grunt model of OP4: (My favorite grunt) Well, with them I did not touch the body much, but if I did a whole retexturing to make it more consistent with the original colors, I also changed the face for the Comander Angry and the comander Smoker, for a similar one to the original.
-HD model made by Gearbox: Well, with them I did the same as with the Gearbox models, also changing the weapons for the original ones, they keep the animations intact.
I did a texture rescue on all the models.
I also made a variant with minimal details.

The original OP4 models are from Savagely_Random from his addon "Op4 Grunts (with Op4 shotgun)"
Also use some VitorHunter12 stuff from from his "Decay Classic Pack" (Which by the way, is a spectacular addon)
Clarification: SD models are Low Definition models, not Super Definition ones. But it gave me a brain failure and I put SD instead of LD.
UPDATE 1: Arrangements in textures and modeling, also incorporation of separate models with better, more detailed mouths.
You could do it with the ambient impact model :( ? Is the Gearbox hd is rubbish (your work is really beautiful but the hd model doesn't convince me)

It looks fantastic although you could fix little mistakes like the red beret has a darker part and the rest lighter than the gas mask neck has a part of the neck without model
Any chance of the PS2 models getting an upgrade?
I'm not a fan of the SD and UD models, even I don't like the the HD ones, (they all seem pretty ugly to me, except HD which don't seem so ugly) so it doesn't motivate me much to do things with those models.
I wouldn't really consider the PS2 models to be SD or UD, since they're basically just improved versions of the HD models, but I can understand why you might not like them.

Yeah I remember that in sven co-op but I played half-life with HD verison for first time, when I first saw Low def I though as "Hmmm those looks good and low"So I did really like them instead of HD

Alr so i need some help:
I play half life 1 on Xash3D, (i do modify it alot) and when i moved the models to the models folder, for some reason when i kill the grunts they drop an M16 or a M4 whatever its called and not an mp5 how can i fix this?
