Half-Life 2: Lost Coast is a playable technology showcase that introduces High Dynamic Range lighting to the Source engine. It is included with Half-Life 2, purchased on Steam. Originally planned as a section of the Highway 17 chapter of Half-Life 2, Lost Coast follows Half-Life protagonist Gordon Freeman as he travels up a coastal cliff to destroy a Combine artillery launcher in a monastery, which is firing on a nearby town.

Description

Half-Life 2: Death Edge is a modification for Lost Coast which aims to mistranslate everything through Google Translate. It's meant to be a demo for the main, bigger project (Half-Life 2: GTE), so this would be the perfect example of the full GTE experience. Enjoy :)

Remove the "LCGTE" folder inside "custom", and replace lostcoast/resource/lostcoast_english.txt with the backup you should've saved as per installation instructions.
If for some reason you haven't backed it up remove said file and then, on Steam, enter the game's properties, click on the "Local Files" tab, then "Verify integrity of game files".
