A strategic management game, best described as a sci-fi tower defence game with moving spaceships and configurable units. Design your own ships from a series of hulls+modular components, group the ships into a fleet, give the fleet orders and positions and then watch it engage in OTT gratuitous space battles against enemy fleets.
This is a trailer showing the new DLC expansion for the game, adding a completely new race called 'The Order', which have 10 new ships and a bunch of new weapons such as radiation guns, nuclear missiles, and 'limpet mines' which stick to enemy fighters to slow them down. The DLC also adds two new maps to the game, including one set in an asteroid field. The second map is a 'suvival mode' map where the player fights endless waves of enemies and competes on a global high score for how long he/she can last.
