We've reworked some of the combat systems in Grand Guilds. Action points work differently and passives have been added.

I've made some changes on the combat system in Grand Guilds based on user feedback. Here's a short video detailing the changes and showing them in action.


Five Action Point Start - each character will now start with 5 AP each. We removed the build up and made it so every unit gets 5 AP each turn. This means you can play any card without waiting for your AP to fill up.

Hero Passives - characters now have passive skills that can benefit their decks and playstyles. You can also unlock more passives as you play, allowing for more customization. Of course, boss enemies will also have passive skills of their own!

Other small changes - card descriptions are clearer now as important words have been highlighted. Elevation bonus has been buffed and enemy AIs are much smarter too.
