Keep your glitchball inside the circle. Use the arrows to turn the circle. Each time the ball hits the circle you receive points. Be careful though, each segment of the circle is damaged when you hit it, and is destroyed after a couple of hits. Luckily we've added boosters to make it a little easier, or not :) Try to get the best highscore and who knows, you might be the next King of Glitch Pong. While playing you will see icons randomly appear inside the circle. If you hit these icons with your glitchball you will get positive or negative boosters that influence the game. Mostly these boosters will enable you to play a little longer, but some boosters are a real pain in the ass.

The first update is here! Yesterday we launched our first Android game Glitch Pong, but we found some small bugs so we fixed them and updated the background image. Most important fix was to ease down on the ads, 1.0 was showing to much of them. So less annoying ads for all you peeps who are playing right now :)

The First Day

Yesterday we launched our first mobile game called Glitch Pong. The development took about a month, but most of that time was figuring out stuff. Using Google Analytics we were able to see the first people installing and playing the game in real-time. It was a very exciting moment for me personally and I learned a lot from it.

The First Update

After some friends played the game, we discovered that the ads in the game were showing too much. The new update has way less annoying ads, and was optimized for a smoother game experience. Also I tweaked the background of the scenes, as it was showing banding.

Future Updates

The plans for the next update are a bit larger. We want to add sharable highscores, global or with the use of facebook. Any suggestions or tips are always welcome of course. Next thing is we want to add unlockable levels. Maybe change up the backgrounds, add different gamefield shapes etc. Another thing we are thinking about is personalized ball skins. Let us know what you think about that.
