Garry’s Mod is a sandbox mod for the Source Engine. Unlike normal games there aren't any predefined aims or goals. Players are given tools and are left to entertain themselves. The player is in a world where objects can be created and destroyed on demand. Where people can be created and destroyed with the click of a mouse. A world made for him. A world he made.

The Commonwealth of Isotx has been in the war for it's first full year while a small convoy carrying materials for the Commonwealth's rapidly progressing nuclear weapons program travels through the Rocky Alps to a secret location codenamed "New Age" where the Commonwealth is building it's first nuclear reactor to manufacture weapons grade uranium and plutonium for their first nuclear weapon.
The Commonwealth's nuclear pursuits have caused uneasiness among the Alliance since the Commonwealth was not a member when it's leaders signed the "Washington Accords" banning the use of Nuclear weapons except in extreme cases and many fear that the Isotxians will not hesitate to deploy nuclear weapons against the Ontario Pact, who also did not hesitate to detonate a nuclear device in the port city of Danzig as a desperate attempt to stop the Commonwealth's rapid advance across Northern Slavia after the Pact's failed attempt to take Berlin, killing thousands of civilians and Isotxian soldiers.
