Description

The Freelancer Modders Toolkit (otherwise known as FLMT), is a software package for modders and developers. It is a combination of several modding applications, just packaged in one file for distribution. It contains many applications from many different authors, but none of the programs have been changed from their original code. Some programs were provided with source code – that code has not been modified, and has been included where possible. I put together this software package to make installation of many mod tools for Freelancer easy and simple. My intention is not to undermine your work, or try to claim it as my own. A full readme containing all possible credit is included. I haven’t given the credits for the optional programs like FL Account Manager/Companion/Datastorm/Mod Manager, because this package contains the original installers for those tools. Credit is given to the author in the original installer packaged. Hopefully, this helps someone out. Good luck everyone!

Actually, no. Modding tools are illegal in and of themselves (unless given blessing by the developer and publisher, which isn't the case here), and most of those tools are released under a free license.

Those that are not would file under intellectual property far more than copyright, and I doubt any of the tool makers would be against getting packaged in here. Plus, I'm sure the author of this package will gladly remove any tool under request.

Although I would hope that is not the case, any tools will be removed at the request of the author. The installer does mention this:

"If you would like to request that your software be removed, or if you think some more software should be added, please contact us at:

admin@discoveryfluk.com"

If anyone does want their tools or resources removed, a quick email letting me know will result in me repacking the installer and removing the old versions containing the materials that you wish to be removed.

As I said, it's not my intention to undermine or claim anyone else's work as my own, and full credit has been given where possible in the readme files, included in both HTML and PDF format.
