Thank you for your good comments on last post, that was a lot of feedback!
We have been working hard on the music since then, and we think it might be a good idea to ask you involve with us: find out the music style fits this game together!
It is easy, just a link to Youtube video, SoundCloud or anything else! And the music don't have to be your work. You might want to also ask your friends how they think, that also helps us spread the message : )
Just before you have some music in your mind, a brief reading what we would like to present in Forward to the Sky:
The game is not heavy emotion nor stress, instead, we want to bring out an easy pace adventure.
Just look into the art style, things are light and comfortable, even the skeleton looks silly in some way ( well, all the aspects I think, ha ha ).
So, light, adventure, joyful in a good tempo ( probably a little bit fast jumpy )
AND!
This is not something like a contest, BUT in case you guys bring some music that really fits, or
if so many of you involved in this development,
we are going to make you a picture "Princess enjoying music" with appreciate!

there are some mario songs that if you were to change a few measures that would suit the game perfectly. these would be "Rosetta's comet observatory (1-3) and "wind garden"
I pretty much think the "wind garden" is going to suit perfectly in the game as you said. But what's the reason you think "Rosetta's comet observatory" might be another option? I would like to know because I think they are a bit slow ( like waltz dance in a palace ).
It actually is a waltz. Bethovans symphonyNo 6 in F major Op 68 Pastoral I Awakening of Cheerful Feelings Upon Arrival in the Country Allegro ma non troppo might work well for the desired effect. thus is my opinion. a good portion of bethovan would work great.
I believe most of the kid icarus music fit well with this game since both game take place in sky.

I'm thinking upbeat orchestral stuff, kind of like you'd have heard in final fantasy or the like. Here's a good example: Newgrounds.com And here's another one: Newgrounds.com
I think the tempo of these two are fine, but the instruments don't seems fit in my opinion. Might be too vast for the game.
Well, just listen to it again, The "-Orr- Soaring in the Stars" is actually very good. From 00:24 ~ 00:34 very light and easy.
01:43 ~ 02:05 again, very good. And 01:49 ~ 01:53 the instrument I like it pretty much. Like flying in the wind of sky!
