The lost Library of this land is why you settled here. It holds the key to everything you’ve lost, and you will set yourself to the difficult task of learning all its secrets. An enormous research tree of new buildings, tools, efficiencies, resource unlocks, heating systems, work ranges, zones, and more. Everything hinges on your ability to unlock the secrets of the past. Balancing your short-term needs with long-term planning is paramount to your survival.

Manage a complex economy

Your logistical & economic skills are essential to plan out your settlement successfully. All resources will need to be moved across a complex web of depots to be used by your buildings (there are no magic central inventories here!), and placing your production chains too far apart could be the difference between the settlement’s life & death. You should build new houses to grow your settlement, but beware of hidden costs! If you can’t meet the needs of your population, your settlement may pay the ultimate price! And the threat of the coming winter is always present.

Expand & explore new zones

You will need to scour this new land and its different zones, each with its own resources, feel & importance. However, these zones are blocked, and you will first need to contribute resources, risk lives & dedicate yourself to get these ancient gates open.
