Forgotten Tale is a Tower Defense based Strategy Game. It is still in active development.

It has been almost to the day two years ago that I have released the very first Blog entry about Forgotten Tale. Back then, I had just learned how to use the OpenGL API and thus wanted to create a bigger project then. Somewhen, I had the idea to write an OS-independent 3D-Tower Defense with nice graphics. I shared this idea with some friends and the reaction was very positive, so we spent some school lessons developing plans for the game. For it’s second birthday, I have made a little PDF with miscellaneous (partially pretty amusing) scanned Drawings and other Images: Link. The file is available under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License.

Here is also a little video that I've made in that time. It is a test animation of the angel's wings:

In the next 2 weeks (Christmas vacation), I will try to finish the third Alpha version. In this version, there will be a new map and the enemies will not walk on a clearly defined way anymore, but on the whole map.
