The first WWII naval game to bring base building and combat on the same map (that we know of!). Build factories, ports and airfields in the Pacific, bring in ships and aircraft, and drive the enemy from the battlefield. Flotilla WWII brings classic tile-based action enhanced with simple and intuitive base building, providing for both small quick battles and longer island-hopping campaigns in randomly generated maps for endless fun. Play against the AI which is simple but aggressive, or play against a friend on 1vs1 hotseat multiplayer.

Post news Report RSS Steam Greenlight submission!

I'm excited to announce that Flotilla WWII has been submitted to Steam Greenlight, an overwhelming feeling for any developer who does this for the first time, but a big step ahead for any project! Along with the Greenlight, we've also put together a new trailer, since the last video was too, shall we say, to the point for promotion purposes - another paradox we sometimes have to face!

Steam Greenlight, here we come! In the making for a good 4 days, the Greenlight page of Flotilla WWII is up and running, and with it, a new trailer, which has been in the making for even longer, surprisingly!

Steam Greenlight is as big a step as it gets before actually publishing on a major platform, and one realizes how far he has gone, especially with a finished product (though there are thoughts of adding two specific features, namely save/load and a save editor for scenario building if we're Greenlit).

In a rare contact with a gamer, or any human in terms of rarity to be honest, I was asked if the game will be for free. As most of you know, Greenlight and some software cost some money, to cover this, the steam version will likely not be for free, but to keep things realistic, it's only going to have a symbolic fee of 1$ at most. Again, what's released here on IndieDB will remain and be updated if anything else changes, so the game is still a free game.

As a final note, thank you all for your support, I couldn't have gone this far without all of you who clicked on the link thinking that it might be interesting. Maybe it was, probably it wasn't, but if anyone found it interesting or even promising for future games, it was definitely worth it, after all, the pleasure is in the making. And be sure to leave some feedback, it's always useful, you know? Now go sink some ships and conquer a few islands, if you call yourself an Admiral! 'Till next time - Count Nerdula
