In F.E.A.R An unidentified paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound, taking hostages but issuing no demands. The government responds by sending in special forces, but loses contact as an eerie signal interrupts radio communications. When the interference subsides moments later, the team has been obliterated.

Description

The mod basically adds some more realism to the carnage. Shotguns won't explode enemies anymore, explosions are more likely to rip off body parts instead of gibbing. Limits for mutilation to occur have been disabled. Usually the game wants a certain amount of "normal" deaths until another limb is allowed to fly again. It also pushes low-health indicators like heavy breathing a bit up so they occur at higher health threshold. I did this mainly because the medpack supply in FEAR mostly keeps you above the thresholds and later in the game you wouldn't hear them very rarely since it's either heal or death. The batteries for the flashlight have also been exchanged for, well, normal batteries.. Keep the light on. Choose between three versions of the mod. All three come with the changes mentioned above, Mutilation Plus and Payneful add gameplay changes like being able to carry more weapons and throwables and more health/slomo increase.
