Ziggy's Mod 3.21 Regular addon - Far Cry 3

Ziggy's Mod is the biggest mod available for Far Cry 3. It completely rebalances almost every aspect of the game to offer a more challenging, realistic and immersive experience for the player. This mod removes all of the arbitrary restrictions on the game's content, giving you access to everything from the beginning (not for free) and allowing you the freedom to choose how you want to play.

Since the first version of this mod was released in early 2013, I have worked with the great Nexus Mods community along with some of the best Far Cry 3 modders to improve this mod and turn it into what it is today.



» New content: Added a fifth tier of gear upgrade crafting recipes, added the Type 10 pistol shotgun from multiplayer, added two new melee weapons, added seven new signature weapons, added unique effects for signature weapons, added muzzle brake attachment, added long-range scope attachment, added two new colors of night sight attachments, added more weapon stats to the store menu
» Freedom: Removed all skill locks, unlocked all weapons and syringes from game start, enabled all attachments for all weapons they fit on, increased maximum allowed attachments for most weapons, unlocked the southern island from game start, wingsuit can be enabled from the crafting menu
» Realism: Enemy weapons do the same damage as the player's, enemies have a larger variety of weapons, most enemies carry a secondary weapon, enemy pirates wear camouflage clothing and privateers wear black gear, added location-based damage modifiers, added distance-based damage fall-off for all guns, suppressors aren't completely silent any more, disabled tagging/wallhacking, increased spawn rates of enemies, removed enemy sniper lasers, increased the duration of days and nights, increased duration of storms, removed free weapon unlocks from radio towers, disabled object highlighting/blinking
» Enhanced UI: Removed all unnecessary HUD popups, removed on-screen interaction prompts, cleaned up the appearance of several menus, added cleaner icons for the world map, replaced the minimap with a simple compass
» Immersive audio: Removed grenade switch tick, removed crouch/stand sound, removed humming on menus, removed death music, removed XP gain sound, removed interaction prompt sound, removed various other sounds
» Rebalanced: Crafting recipes, gear upgrades, store prices, weapon stats, attachment stats

This mod makes hundreds of changes and tweaks to the game, making it impossible to list everything in the description. What is written above are only some of the highlights of what this mod offers. You will just have to install the mod and see for yourself what else has changed.


Includes everything in the regular edition, plus:

» Increased XP required for each skill point.
» Increased number of materials required for most crafting recipes.
» Medical syringes require blue leaves and exploration syringes require green leaves.
» Weapons dropped from enemies or supplied through missions will not unlock for free.
» Many enemies will have weapon skins and attachments that match their style.
» Amount of ammo left in your gun's magazine isn't displayed on the HUD.
» Animal locations aren't displayed on the world map.
» Maps cannot be purchased from the shop.


Includes everything from the regular edition, plus:

» Minimap is restored instead of the compass.
» Tagging/wallhacking is enabled.
» Object highlighting/blinking is enabled.
» Nearby collectibles and other items are displayed on the minimap.
» Decreased number of materials required for most crafting recipes.
» Enhanced Perception and Nature Boy syringes are craftable.
