You are sent to war-torn Africa to assassinate The Jackal, a mysterious arms dealer who has rekindled conflict between local warlords, jeopardizing thousands of lives. In order to fulfil your mission you will have to play the warring factions against each other, identify and exploit their weaknesses, and neutralize their superior numbers with surprise, subversion, cunning and, of course, brute force.
Description
This is the Far Cry 2 version of Unreal Tournament's Lava Giant map. Of course there's no lava in this one, I put water instead. It supports Team Deathmatch & Capture The Diamonds. I'm looking for the "Nostalgia" Award with this map. I know it's huge but the original was big too, that's why I added some vehicules. For those who don't know the original Unreal Tournament map, it's a simple Capture The Flag in a big island surrounded by lava. A cliff separates the map in half and there's a fort on each side with the flag inside. Enough reading... Now ENJOY!

Even though lava giant has lava, you seemed to have done a pretty good job at brushing that off and making it your own way, I just had a look at it in the editor and I think it's pretty cool. I am not sure if there are vehicles in this, but I reckon if you had 2 buggies on either side, it would make things much more interesting ;)
Each team has 3 vehicles, 1 car, 1 4x4 and 1 mounted 4x4. Maybe I could replace the car by a buggy!

Will that Castle go "KA-BOOM!" if i fired a TAC into it? :O

Unfortunately FC2 doesn't have the TAC gun from Crysis.
It would have made for a pretty good replacement for the Redeemer, though.

Ohh wow I used to play this map so much. When i get the chance ill Dload but my vista profile isn't working.
ow sweet remake ,probebly took you some time to make this one ,i wander witch map took you the most time to build,any way another fine map from you.
It usually takes me about 10 to 15 hours to make a map like this one. Dante, Castle & Magic Kingdom too if I remember well... Maybe 20 with all the fixes, updates & testing. Thank you for your comments!
