Vault-Tec engineers have worked around the clock on an interactive reproduction of Wasteland life for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own vault. Included is an expansive world, unique combat, shockingly realistic visuals, tons of player choice, and an incredible cast of dynamic characters. Every minute is a fight for survival against the terrors of the outside world – radiation, Super Mutants, and hostile mutated creatures. Didn't fall for this game as much as I did for Oblivion somehow. I missed a lot of it and it sucks. I can see a lot of potential in this game with the open-world and the FPS/RPG settings. I will give this game another shot, it totally deserves it!
despite massive plot holes and huge flaws in writing, the game is actually very good, especially with mods.
The game itself is a gorgeous work, no doubt about it. But there are some things that glitch the game inside! Monsters: someone are ridiculous, and the ragdolls are somehow inefficient. Story: some parts of the plot are so dumb... some others are fantastic. Gameplay: generally perfect, anyway in some spots there are glitches and bugs. The weapons: some are excellent (balistics, shapes...) some others are horrible, even in the phisics.
If you step on a bear trap, you'll most likely die. If you steal a plate, a ******* mob will hunt you down and kill you. And, if you break a leg, take a nap. That should fix it.
Fallout 3 in a nutshell.
It's really good actually, buy it. It's worth it.
A vast wasteland world, filled with quests and enemies, the only problem is, some mutants are very OP.
Fallout 3 adds an extremely large open world environment for everyone. As a free-roam game you take on the footsteps of either a male or female; which is completely customisable at the start to your desired character of preference. With the game being set during an post apocalyptic environment, you get to travel around Washington D.C and the wastelands in the USA. The game has some stunning graphics and certainly some interesting combo elements as well as a fair decent story that at least makes a main back line of the plot; whereas you can ultimately decide what to do, and do little side quests of your decision. The dialogue is near enough top notch so there is plenty here to keep you entertained; however the story can feel a bit far fetched as you can certainly become very bored of this game and find it a little TOO demanding for yourself!!!!!. However this game does have a lot of greatness, but tons of work that should have been finished before it's quick release

console port. what else to say. very annoying interface that ruins the game. Also you cant play the game in either real time or VATS mode (as advertised), you have to switch between modes all the time, very annoying.
what i really liked about the game was headshots, blood and flying bodyparts in slow motion. And i liked some of the quests. The rest of the game - not so much.
