Van Buren: A Fallout RPG Adventure is a remake of Interplay's canceled Fallout 3 by fans. You are the Prisoner in this - the biggest ever - Fallout game. We are using original design documents, developer interviews and forum posts as info sources. We're looking for contributors so feel free to contact us. The game will require preinstalled copies of Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics. WARNING: This page contains SPOILERS!
We recently had a vote for new power armours we have created for the game but our main goal was to design Vault Tec Power Armour and let our Facebook supporters, No Mutants Allowed, InXile, Beth, FoDev and RPG Codex Fallout fans decide which was most Vault Tec and also their Favourite armour. So here are the results of the vote.

In the light of the recent news that InXile trademarked Van Buren, I want to clarify that I didn't take the pause from Van Buren because of that, but...
I have an important announcement to make! You probably noticed our updates stopped. As I was the one making them, here's the reason...
We recently did 2 interviews! Check them out for new screenshots and information about the game!

WHERE ARE NEW UPDATES?! Give us more!!!1 :-)
Can or are you going to implement crouch/prone like in tactics?
This brings a tear to my eye. I wanted to do this but I never had the skills to do it. Thank you. Van Buren will rise again!
This looks so good! Love Fallout games best of luck to Hexer and his team! :D
Thanks! I'm currently changing my career and starting my own business so that's the reason why updates stopped! It's temporary.
What will you be basing the game on? I only remember a few promo images and a tech demo of Van Buren before it was sent to the graveyard.
All the design documents for the game were released :)
Will you consider changing this project into a Wasteland 2 mod if the WL2 modkit turns out to be decent?
Good question but let me say truthfully, there is a huge amount of new art in this game and rendering it all in 3D would take forever for me. If I had 4-5 dedicated 3D artists I would make the switch. But right now it's only a dream.
I would prefer it as 2D, even if you had those artists. The engine and visual look is perfect as is.
Thanks bro, appreciate it! 2D is more charming and there is something special about it. Maybe because it leaves more to the imagination I say :)
