We're back! Well, I am anyway. Starting afresh, from the ground up. I'm the only mod-maker on the team, really, I'm making all the content and tweaking all the variables. Neddiecrow is coming up with basic tech trees and is basically my trove of info. As I hope to make this as close the 40K universe as possible, he's quite important, as he knows more universe guff than me For now, I'm doing the Space Marines and Chaos Space Marines (mainly because the CSMs are basically SMs with a lot of spikes and bad breath, thus making them easy to make) A close combat system is in the works Epic Legions forum is here Epic Legions' IRC Channel (of sorts) is #legions on the TASClient

At the moment the tenative buildtree is all I have completed for you to work with when you can. I will be, of course, modifying and expanding it later, as well as fleshing out ingame text for the race and adding the upper tier units such as Vehicles and Harelquins. === Basic Eldar Tech Tree Farseer or Avatar for the Commander unit? The Avatar is suitably powerful, but the Farseer makes more sense in conjunction with the ability to construct structures and units, through use of the Warp. Anyway, after the Commanding unit we would have... >Storm Guardians The Warpgate Portal would have the ability to construct The Crafter, or whatever, should have a better name... anyway, it would construct tech 1 structures and buildings that allow tech 2... so, possibly these? The Greater Warpgate would construct vehicles and transports. The Direct Warpgate Portal would construct the elite infantry... Possibly Exarchs as well... Eldar Balance Individual Eldar should cost more, move faster and deal more damage or have more range than their Space Marine or Chaos Space Marine counterparts, with slightly less durability in the form of weaker hit point and armour totals. The vehicles should be similarly light, fast and suited in general for raiding. === Anyway, I would suggest getting a Farseer done for a commanding unit, just so you have a starting ground. After looking over what I wrote, that does make the most sense as a commanding unit... though the Avatar would be something that you could better explain not replacing. |

The Avatar would be more like a super-unit, rather than a leader. Farseer for the starting bloke And we may as well call the 'Crafters' Bonesingers, as they seem to be in canon now... |

Makes perfect sense. I haven't seen the newest codex, myself. |
