Just as popular today as it was a staggering 22 years ago, It's amazing the extra life modding can give games.
DOOM III
Whilst not even in the same league as other titles in the series, DOOM 3 allowed modders to make major changes to the gameplay creating some of the most beloved mods of all time, some becoming standalone titles, with the community still creating content, its worth more than a trip down memory lane if you have this in your game libary.

Well Preferably one of the Greatest Doom Mods, theres lots of other Good ones out there like Project MSX for Example.
MSX is an awesome mod and should have been featured instead of Doom Fortress. But I still think Brutal Doom rules over all. No other mod can compare the amount of work and detail put into it.
Hexen: Edge of Chaos mod is duplicated as a Doom II mod here btw.
Where is "In Hell" for Doom 3?
Demos and beta's shouldn't be on this list as unfinished projects, only stuff You can play from start to end or finished modification and tweaks.

Redux is on here but no Sikkmod? Kind of the main reason any retail/steam non BFG Doom 3 mod looks amazing at all including my own. Fail for sure.
