DOOM 2 Pre Rendered Lighting Demo addon

this level has been designed to visually create the effect of real dynamic lights being used in the level. And to see if there is a possible future for dooms graphics to be improved on with rendering dynamic lighting effects to the textures. this is the same way as early resident evil 1,2,3 games created there visuals using pre rendered backgrounds. when playing a level with real dynamic lights placed in the map and while your looking at these lights your pc has to render the area / textures you are looking at over and over again in real time with every single frame displayed on your monitor, by approaching lighting a map from this approach using pre rendered textures, we can see how well the engine can really perform while just displaying HD textures and sprites and not having to render anything in real time, the map design is similar to a unreal engine demo level you see on you tube, as i wanted something roughly to compare it to, and see how close i can quickly replicate the lighting using just a few quickly pre rendered textures in a photo editing program before being added to the map. Imagine what could be done with a proper 3d doom level rendering program if it was to be created while using shadows and extra effects to really polish it up. this is my vision on how the doom engine should be pushed forward to make the map visuals go to the next level with out sacrificing frame rates for players. less things can sometimes equal more. load both files to play the level
