Two years after the incident on Mars, research has resumed, led by Dr. Elizabeth McNeil. Once more, strange occurrences haunt the facility. A search team breaks into a chamber deep within Mars, finding the Artifact — a weapon from Hell that the Ancients sealed away long ago. The lead Marine, upon touching the Artifact, awakens it, the blast wave killing his team and reaching into Hell, alerting the Maledict (Dr. Betruger’s new form). The Maledict sends the three Hunters to retrieve the Artifact. Meanwhile, Hell begins to invade Mars once again.

PSA.

Perfected Doom 3's 7.0.2 update broke compatibility with this mod. Crashes just after loading a stage. The previous update 7.0.1 works fine so we can still use Perfected's new gibbing system & some of the weapon fixes.

yeah... some of the script files has been updated, so it does not work in the latest version.... it means that you have to update it to the script list...

yes it's a bug ... thanks for reporting, it spawns every three minutes so I add a trigger that no longer re-spawns again

yo I love this mod and played this for years now but can we have more health packs or at least a soul cube to refill our health lol? Sometimes I fought a horde of hell knights and then bruisers with no health lying around :(

it doesn't matter which source porting version is used, it's not supported, it always crashes for BFG Edition...

Hi Rareg, several years ago we were in close contact on another Doom3 website. We wrote a lot about Tested 6.0. I am very happy to see that you developed it further. It plays absolutly great, one of the best mods ever if not the best for Doom3!

hi, the door should open when you kill the first pinky demon
i have tried it and no problems have been found in my own tests
i have tested it computer: 6700k, Nvidia GT 1030, 16GB memory, 500GB SSD and Windows 10 x64)

- One solution may be that you delete the extra custom '.pk4' files from your Doom 3\Base and Doom3\D3xp folders...

- another solution is to delete 'gamex86.dll' file from your Doom 3\Base
, Doom 3\D3xp and Doom 3\Testedv8 folders....

or do you use dhewm3 source port?

Do you think for tested 9.0 if you could fix the lights on some projectiles? its weird seeing blue imp projectiles with red lights, also would love to see support for Phrozos particle pack!

Im gonna be doing another run of tested as I keep returning to the mod ;p

- just drop zTestedv8_pak800.pk4 file into your Dhewm3\d3xp\ directory and good luck

this question has already been raised, however the latest version of Tested does not work with the Perfect Doom mod
So I ask again, how can I run these two mods together?

you need to be ready to fix everything if you want to make it compatible, both mods use custom stuff...

I'm trying to make test versions that would remove custom stuff for Tested v8xxxxxx mod which would make it easier but it's not easy as you know everything i need to test carefully and all 30+ levels

I'm encountering a lot of issues with the sound. Ambience suddenly cuts off at way too short a distance and a lot of them (especially horror stingers and music) are definingly loud.

I see... Can you tell me more information about. what levels are causing that problem? And can you give some pictures of the rooms? If you can... I can check that easily with the map editor...

Most of the levels have this issue. Ambient sounds cut off suddenly once you leave their radius and music tracks/horror stings are way too loud. The volumes on them appear to be set very high and as for sounds cutting off I remember fixing that by not including a minimum radius value.
