The Old God has left the world and the pretenders are awakening and coming out from hiding. You start the game by designing one of the pretender gods that will compete for true ascension to godhood. The type of god can range from a magically powerful arch mage to an ancient kraken or a mystic monolith that people pray to. Your pretender controls one of over sixty different nations and with the help of that nation he will spread his word and battle the other pretenders. Dominions 3 is a turn based strategy game. You can play single- or multiplayer (1 - 23 players) with simultaneous turns. There are more than 1500 different units, 600 spells and 300 magic items in the game. The game also features a medieval musical score by Erik Ask Uppmark and Anna Rynefors, both awarded the title of Musicians of the Realm by the Swedish Zornmärkeskommiten. Dominions 3 is a highly detailed game and a 300 page pdf manual is included in the download.

So, this is the second attempt of the EarlyNoobs game. The settings are pretty much the same. I'm aiming for 6 players here, ideally. Those who signed up for EarlyNoobs get the first dibs, otherwise first come, first served. If more players apply before I start the game, I may change to a larger map and take them in too.

Player list:

1. Radiator (Tir na n'Og)
2. KestrelM1 (Ulm)
3. knightofni (Abysia)
4. parone (C'Tis)
5. Multipass (Sauromatia)

Yup, i'm in with Abysia

I'm going to play Acrocephale

I contacted support and had my issue sorted out, hopefully!

Sep 23 2013 Anchor

I'm not signing up, so move on without me if I don't contact you, but I too am attempting to fix the steam key issues.

Alright. By the way, anyone who's already on the player list can upload their pretenders at any time.

ill be pythium!!!

Sep 23 2013 Anchor

Pretender sent! Can't wait for this one to start up :)

Sep 23 2013 Anchor

sauromantia please.

Sep 23 2013 Anchor

Support is dealing with me now :). I do, however see that you have set a six player limit. I will concede if you would prefer to keep it small (No hard feelings).

Sep 23 2013 Anchor

we should get oz in. 6 is too few for this map anyway.

Sep 23 2013 Anchor

Vale of variance is better for 7 players ==> Z7.invisionfree.com

CBM 1,95b ==> Z7.invisionfree.com

Sep 24 2013 Anchor

Not my place to set the game conditions. But didnt CBM 1.95b create all sorts of problems last time? Wouldn't it be safer just to stick with the tried and true 1.94?

Sep 24 2013 Anchor

Well, last time there were some issues because i haden't initally uploaded the proper file. Now that the correct file is uploaded, and that it's already on llamaserver, everything should be fine (knock on wood)

Sep 24 2013 Anchor

imagine my surprise when I realized there was no EA pythium....

ill take a crack at neifelheim, I guess...

Sep 24 2013 Anchor

I figured I'd set 6 as I estimated that Ozfer's problem would be too long term to wait out. If we can expect the problem to be solved, it can go up to 7 without problems.

sounds good guys. Cant wait to redeem myself from the last game. PS Parone: let it be known if you try a double bless neifelheim strat on your head so be it. Not going to have a lot of friends with that one ;)

Sep 24 2013 Anchor

Is parone playing C'Tis or Niefelheim? I see a C'Tis pretender uploaded to llamaserver...

I'm fine with either one, but yeah, if you go for double blessed giants expect the hammer to come down hard :P

Sep 24 2013 Anchor

sorry fellas.

didn't have time to make a pretender for Nief, so sent in my last lizard pretender.

shouldn't make much of a difference.

Sep 25 2013 Anchor

Very well. The 6 base players are in. Ozfer, any news with support? Can we expect a solution to your problem soon?

Sep 25 2013 Anchor

I have been in correspondence with support. I have sent them my key file's contents, but haven't gotten a reply yet. It looks like this may take a little longer than expected, so you can move on.

Sep 25 2013 Anchor

Alright. Well then... the game's starting! (I'm not sure why this would be significantly better for 7 players than for 6. There are about 17 land provinces per player with 16 players, less than Twiceborn, which was still not too big. Anyway, I like the map, so I'll start off with it. If y'all want something else, please speak up before the end of turn 1.)

Sep 25 2013 Anchor

hell radiator, lets just run this sum o bitch!!!

Sep 26 2013 Anchor

GAH I THOUGHT I HAD IT FIXED.

Oh well. Sorry guys, I guess restart the game without me in it too.

(cd key violation)

Sep 26 2013 Anchor

Alright, well, this totally sucks. One more reason to hate Steam. Well then, back to the drawing board! At least 1 more player needed...

Sep 26 2013 Anchor

...would you guys be willing to try again if I used a keygen?
