Hi everyone,
As you maybe already saw, our call for crowd funding on indiegogo.com did not have nearly the impact we were hoping to. Unless something exceptional happens, we will not be even close to reaching our funding goal.
I want to take the chance and thank everyone who made contributions to our campaign - If we do not reach our funding goal, 100% of your contribution will be paid back to your PayPal account. We will not be able to use it anyway, since we will not have the funds to afford the engine license to release the game.
The future of the Saga of Pandoria is now somewhat uncertain. We will focus on finishing the remaining development, and then see what other options we might have.
You can still visit our IndieGoGo page to see how you can make a contribution:

Well that's not so great news. I'd be interested to know the success rate of gaming projects on indiegogo compared to kickstarter. If it doesn't come through perhaps a switch of crowdfunding sites and relaunch of the appeal?
Also, I'm a bit confused about the 4th part of the funding goals - Making it DRM free. Is it possible to release Source engine games without the need for Steam (considering that is a form of DRM)?
Good luck with your endeavours guys. What we've seen so far looks pretty sweet.
Hey just saw from your comment in previous posts your reason for choosing indiegogo. Bummer about KS being only available for peeps from the US (and soon the UK sometime during the Autumn up there).
Hey billy, thanks for your comment! Yes it is possible to release a Source engine game DRM free (without Steam), the Dear Esther team did exactly that. (I also did not know this before).
We might want to try with kickstarter again if we find someone from the US... As we also learned, it seems Indiegogo (despite its name) is more a crowdfunding site for people than interactive media, kickstarter seems MUCH better. However, we first want to finish our kickstarter campagin, still more than 30 days left.
Finish our kickstarter? You mean indiego? Or do you have a kickstarter?
I mean when the indiegogo fails, then one option might be to try again with kickstarter. However, you need to be a US citizen to do that; luckily one friend of mine is, so maybe this would work out.
I learned something today!
Ah if i had know this was going on i prob would have game some.
there is still a month or so to go (Indiegogo). Follow the link :)
