Based on Warhammer 40,000, deep under the central desert of Kronus, a vast honeycomb of skull-lined tunnels and funeral chambers house the awakening Necron menace. Eons ago, these were the boulevards and squares of a great necropolis built to house the bones of the races who had fallen to the Necrons, and ultimately were where the Necrons themselves retire to spend eternity. Over millions of years, sand and rock had covered it all until ill-fated excavations awoke the deathless.
This is an 8 player map set along a highway.
Well, well, well, looks like you've found my 2nd map, Highway Topaz. 'Tis made by Lanf and you can conntact him(me) at lukelanfear [at] hotmail DOT co DOT uk.
Well, as you might expect, there is a highway in there, quite a long one too, running the length of the level, dividing two teams (of four each), and two themes. For players one to four, there is a city like area, with seventeen (twenty one if you include the ones on the highway, but, they are possibly more neutral) strategic points, one critical location, and two relics. There are also a whole eight slag deposits, to augument the defenders/counter attackers. Mean while, the attackers (five to eight) the attackers have a a huge amount of strategic points, and each player a relic. There are also two strategic points immediatly outside of the highway, for fans of the corresponding rule. The desert area which they reside in, has no cover, whilst the highway and city has a heavy amount of it.
Well, that was pretty lengthy, if you can't be bothered to read that, just look at the numbers below...
