Can we edit the pause menu appearance or the camera's maximum view distance?!
Does this mean the game may finally be playable for us, the single player turn based strategy types!
If anyone knows the directories or method for camera and/or pause change please please post it.
I realize I'm replying to something several years old, but one of these questions is what others may want to know as well.
For the location of the Pause menu it is located in GameDefault.sga
GameAssets\Data\ui\textures\space_marines\hud\pause_menu
I have been having some success in editing the Pause menu in SKIRMISH removing the background (background.dds; so it is transparent, easier to see around) and shrinking the button.dds series so it is not as large.
In the Campaign the Pause menu background does not want to disappear so it may be another graphic somewhere i have not identified

is source code available anywhere?
seconding the request for source code (jk i posted without logging in first). trying to open an SGA archive version 10.0 (via age of empires 4). this version of SGA reader supports only up to version 5.0 of SGA files. simple hex edit on the .sga file to hack the version header to 10.0 resulted in other problems tho.
