You’ll be able to play as one of the four people that got trapped inside this haunted hotel. As a survivor your main objective will be finding your way out, as well as helping your fellows get out too. You’ll often find yourself on the edge, hearing and seeing ghostly things, trying to find keys and items to help in your escape. And sometimes you’ll find yourself running desperately from a monster, who’s there only to hunt down and kill you and your friends. You’ll also be able to play as the monster. You’ll assume an ethereal form, which you’ll use to haunt the survivors, triggering eerie noises and events. You’ll also assume a physical form, which will allow you to hunt and kill the survivors trapped in the hotel. It’ll be your killing spree. Hello everyone, I downloaded Damned through Steam on Saturday only to find that I couldn't keep the game running for more than 10 seconds without getting a crash to desktop and the message the Damned.exe is no longer responding. I contacted 9heads, but ultimately ended up finding the solution to this problem on my own. I wanted to share what fixed it for me in case anyone else ran into this issue Several months ago I purchased an MSI motherboard that touted a feature called Killer e2200 Intelligent Networking Platform. This feature is supposed to route your bandwidth to the programs that need it most. I did not buy this board for this feature - it just happened to be a good deal on that day that I went into Fry's. What I am learning, though, is that the Ethernet controller drivers that ship with the motherboard create incompatibility issues with many products - like Damned. A simple update to these drivers at Hopefully this post helps someone else out in the future. -Biohazard |
