Cyph is a cyberpunk indie game where players will have to complete missions attempting to avoid triggering an alarm that spawns waves of increasingly difficult enemies. Hacking cameras, locks, computers, doors to acquire files, prototypes and people.Successfully completing missions to earn more and more credit to buy better weapons/cyberware/hardware/software to enhance the cybernetic character. More Difficult missions give higher rewards.Players will replay levels in different missions.Critical Mission items will be placed in randomized containers. Routes maybe randomized. Difficulties will also increase relating to cameras, locks, hacking etcInfluences include: Syndicate Wars, Deus Ex, Shadowrun (Snes & Megadrive), Necromancer, Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell, Akira.
As I have posted previously, I am a linux user and thus cyph development must continue within the linux environment.
The Blender engine is incredibly powerful and fast, I am not sure of its potential limitations, but it has proven to be a really excellent tool for rapid game development. Therefore the Prototype of Cyph is being developed in Blender and will be released open-source, I hope that by releasing this content other people will become excited about helping and this will clearly demonstrate the environment of the game and what it is about.

I'm late to the game on your last update, but I can't wait till Dec when some real development gets going! I've been watching this project, and drooling over the concept art, so I'm excited to see it come into fruition!
is it going to be in third-person or first-person point-of-view?
probably third person, this decision will be made based on the feasibility and production time in relation to the leadwerks engine when it is released for linux.
