Based in Ireland
CyberThreat is a modern day, turn-based RPG with social and life sim elements, set in a dynamic world. The game is set in a 3D fictional city called Edendale, with progress and dynamic elements dictated by powerful Calendar system. CyberThreat allows you to balance school and social life with thrilling battles over the course of a gripping, increasingly relevant story about cyberbullying.
Production on CyberThreat began in May 2015, while I was in my second year of studying Computer Science at Trinity College, Dublin. It was my first foray into game development using Unity3D, and I learnt a lot quickly about how you should, and how you shouldn't, make a game. Very little of CyberThreat today consists of what was worked on in the first few years. As I learnt more about coding, 3D modelling and more, I took the opportunity to improve and polish aspects of the game, often redoing whole parts of it. CyberThreat now is on a much better track to be a much more polished game, with a far better story and direction in all aspects.

CyberThreat is an upcoming turn based RPG with a modern day setting. You play as a young man or woman going into their final year of study in a new school. Up to and after their arrival however, there’s been a string of mysterious deaths of students their age. The one thing they all had in common, was that they were badly abused by their peers through cyberbullying. The death toll is on the rise and the police don’t have any leads on these unexplained deaths. But what happens when the target of the cyberbullies is you?
