CyberThreat is an upcoming turn based RPG with a modern day setting. You play as a young man or woman going into their final year of study in a new school. Up to and after their arrival however, there’s been a string of mysterious deaths of students their age. The one thing they all had in common, was that they were badly abused by their peers through cyberbullying. The death toll is on the rise and the police don’t have any leads on these unexplained deaths. But what happens when the target of the cyberbullies is you?
Adlai Aki is one of the central characters in ‘CyberThreat’, and his genius facilitates most of the game’s plot. From a young age, Adlai was an engineering prodigy with a savant-level intellect. However, after a childhood accident that rendered him paraplegic, he also developed a keen interest in computer programming. He works almost 24/7 on a supercomputer he designed and built himself at school, in a room that he rarely leaves. As a teenager, he’s programmed/ databases, game engines, and secret technologies for the government—but his crowning achievement is the creation of the fully-aware, hyper-advanced A.I. personality EVE. Though he is by all accounts a genius, Adlai’s condition, personality and dead-set focus on his work have isolated him from others—he even attends class alone in his own private Computer Room at school. Throughout the game, his work investigating CyberSpace and navigating the team piques his social side, and eventually he joins the battlefield himself.
