Cry of Fear is a singleplayer modification of Half-Life 1 which brings you the horror you've always been afraid of. It's a total conversion of Half-Life 1, which means it uses NO Half-Life 1 content or other peoples' files. It's all made exclusively by the developers. It also uses new gaming styles that you will rarely find in Half-Life mods, such as advanced cutscenes and other stuff that will be revealed at a later date.

i have no problem with that ;D only thing i don't like is that the tags are also behind the chairs, and that the left side is almost emty. don't get me wrong! i love the detail and overall look, but it'll add so much realism to the scene if the size of the tags would be smaller and the places where the sprites are added would make more sense ;)
think that's a small thing to change, isn't it? :p

It doesn't really matter. Most normal people don't stop to look at the smallest details when it comes to level design. It takes hours for a mapper to fine tune a detail just to have the player breeze right by it in a matter of seconds.
I think he's right. tags behind chairs are fail :D singleplayer games should be are a way more detailed, especially the horror games (look at l4d, even it is multiplayer, every writing on the wall is not just a decoration). It's not about running through in a rush, it's about observing. details are making atmosphere (you gotta believe in what you see, and eyes will catch this design fail for sure, even when you don't understand it), and it's critical. it's like a gear of the complex machine. dat's the difference between good game and bad - bad games don't work, coz smallest parts are not polished.
Gotta agree here also, going to the city every day now I am bombarded by this. No one would tag the ceiling light either :( if the train/subway is operational there also wouldn't be any graffiti inside but of course, there is this thing called artistic license :)

I have a question about magazine count, are you carrying 8 full mags? It looks like a lot of ammunition.
I dont know for sure, but I would guess guess thats the amount of bullets in the magazine.

Anyway, amazing. But are the tags a part from the photo you make the texture, are you adding them in the image yourself or are they decals?

But seriously, if you try to let yourself sink into the atmosphere, it's cool to imagine being trapped in a nightmare world, and then finding a advertisment to a horror mod. So delightful.
Really looking forwardt to the train sequences. I will know that I am safe form the dangers outside, but will still know that something inside the train, either a monster or my mind will threaten me. But I would still not want it to stop.
