Cry of Fear is a singleplayer modification of Half-Life 1 which brings you the horror you've always been afraid of. It's a total conversion of Half-Life 1, which means it uses NO Half-Life 1 content or other peoples' files. It's all made exclusively by the developers. It also uses new gaming styles that you will rarely find in Half-Life mods, such as advanced cutscenes and other stuff that will be revealed at a later date.

Looks like they are using a film grain effect like the L4D games.
And in this case, it will work wonders to hide what few limitations of GldSrc they aren't able to overcome.

Looks pretty nice! The white building to the right looks a tad under-detailed, and what is the water? Is that a pool or something? The last sphere-light post thing near the car also is cut off, or maybe it's broken; not sure?

Well maybe twisting leafes, but not so sure about everything else.
Probably NOT safe, evil monsters hiding everywhere, fighting to the death, threatend all the time, scary music, creatures growling and leaf calmly twisting in the wind. Yeah, that will be it.

Will be amazing if you put a rellay big and scary monster in the pool, and when youre passing closely to the pool a bit of cement gets out and you get in to the pool, and there youre screwed.Or a evil crazy hammer guy, get outside the pool to your back, and there you receive a *paw* in the back of the head.Nice i will have to say in that moment.
Also, why you delete all the nice pictures of the moddb and from your website, like for example the picture of the hammer guy, being his head gibed with a beretta?

I only hope the audio is as good as the visuals. The creepy noises in Afraid of Monsters were what really scared me. Like whispering, sudden loud noises, background music, etc. :)
