You wake up in a dark alley, not knowing anything. What has happened anyway? You struggle after the truth and answers. Answers you want to know in the darkness and fear, which makes your heartbeat race like violent blows against your head. Where do "they" come from? What has happened? Are you just turning insane? The time is up; you can't stay there reading your smses forever. It's time to head out and find the answers. Cry of Fear is a singleplayer modification of Half-Life 1 which brings you the horror you've always been afraid of. It's a total conversion of Half-Life 1, which means it uses NO Half-Life 1 content or other peoples' files. It's all made exclusively by the developers. It also uses new gaming styles that you will rarely find in Half-Life mods, such as advanced cutscenes and other stuff that will be revealed at a later date.

I meant if they could publish this.

Because it still beat most of the horror games out there that takes money.

Well, he should rearrange the stuff on the UI, it seems cluttered and unprofessional, but nice for a first C# app

A beautiful piece of work, James. This app shall come in handy. Unbelievable that the day is almost here. Keep it going guys, unleash this nightmare upon the world. As the trailer of Dark Souls would say...

Prepare to die... or in this case: Prepare to fear... fear the unknown.

What is 2D menu VS 3D menu? Pictures, information?

Reply Good karma Bad karma+2 votes
TheShadowCookie
TheShadowCookie - - 364 comments

The difference is basicly that the 2D menu is meant for people who don't have a high-tier PC. Check the video section, they have a video of the 3D menu. You can imagine that the 2D will simply have a still image as background, whike the 3D has the city and a train moving about.

Ah, I see. Odd to include that as an option, but so be it.

I'd assume most people have a rig capable of running this. I'd say any 2003-2004 rig should be able to, then again, I haven't played it.

I doubt I'll be able to play it with 32xAA / 8xSS, like I do with other Half-Life 1 mods. Even Paranoia made my GTX470 99% with that...and used nearly 1000MB of VRAM! lol. Maybe bring it down to 16x / 4x :P

I think 2D menu is simple menu like normal mods running in steam and 3D menu is a menu with background map and twitching words effect.
