As usual, the quick synopsis of the work done since the last build is that the majority of efforts have gone towards the new Retro Mode, which offers a 2.5D version of our existing Challenge Mode, and so far it's one of our personal favorites to play around in (err, strategically test). Definitely check it out for yourself and let us know what you think. Make the jump to read more on the latest build!

Having retro in place has helped show us some areas that need improvement in general gameplay, specifically taking some time to make sure that each planet type has its own unique challenge to keep every level and gameplay session fresh and fun. We also have started experimenting with some in-game UI elements to assist you in your endeavors to tackle the universe's systems, so let us know what your preferences are on that: minimap and/or planetary indicators? Gravity direction indicator or none?

And a quick report on our Greenlight status, we're about halfway there but the rate which we're receiving new votes has fallen off pretty sharply, which means we need some help getting the word out! Being a small group of guys with literally no funding means that we can't get the attention of everyone we'll need to get Greenlit on our own, so that's where you come in! If you want to see this game get released on Steam, make sure you get everyone you know to come vote for us. We've come a long way but there's still a bit more to go, so let's make this happen!

Important news! Right now is your last chance to get in with the "pay what you want" preorder option on our website! Crater Maker has been accepted to some online retailers (we'll be sure to announce where once it's officially available there), and our website's sale price will reflect that of the retailers. You will always be able to get the game from us DRM-free, and it will still be sold at a reduced cost everywhere until its final release is ready.

We always appreciate your support, and make sure you try out the new retro mode, we're sure you'll love it!

Burning Your Atmosphere,
The PWM Team
