For the past 3 or so weeks, I've been distracted from Conflict Terra almost entirely. To be terse, I purchased a Wii and Monster Hunter Tri (I am a big Monster Hunter fan) and I've recently picked up Red Dead Redemption. Both are great games. But, the relevant news is that these games have kept me from working on Conflict Terra.
That trend changed tonight, with two new units put in-game and a handful of balance issues and bugs addressed. Oksnoop2 and I did a test game to gather some more data, and data we did receive.
The NKG is nearing a state of decent playability. A handful of frustrating and persistent problems keep shoving their nasty faces in our own, but they will be ironed out eventually. We decided biting the bit and putting in appropriate sounds is necessary for the gameplay experience, so that will be dealt with.
Oksnoop2 has been valiantly dealing with gadgets and making effects work. Although progress is slow, he is making some and hopefully the community will reveal their secrets soon and we'll be on our way.
Perhaps sometime soon I'll post a feature explaining some aspect of the game.

Hey man! Dont worry! Monster hunters worth your time! i too bought a wii just for it! we can wait!
If yous guys want to make music for your game(which i hope you do)Use FL studio.
Right now we are working more on sound effects then game music. Personally i play all RTS's with the game music off so it's probably at the very very very bottom of my list-o-priorities. I have used FL studio to create a few of the game sounds though.
