A small update for NHCmod v2.700n + Combiner for EF 3.5
EDIT 2024-04-29: Fixed AI bug of SU-122 in the Combiner. Fixed AI bug of Guard grenades. Fixed all EF changes to Wehrmacht terror doctrine by overwritting them.
Fixed EF bug of axis mortar team that could cause AI crash. Fixed EF bug that prevented nebelwerfer to fire.

Major Features
Dead corpses stay, artillery range increased, pop cap increased, new units, each side has one hero unit.
Crazy stuff can be deactivated in the reward menu.

----------------------------------- Installation ----------------------------------
1) Delete any previous version of the NHCmod
2) Execute and follow the instruction of the installer
Optional : Download and install the language addon Moddb.com
3) Just Click on the shortcut created on your desktop to play the mod!
NB: For some strange reasons, Steam now requires to launch the shortcut two times before the mod properly launch. Close CoH the first time and the second time will be fine.
4) Do not forget to choose what units you want to activate/deactivate in the reward menu
Advice: It is recommended to defrag your Disk after installation for better performance.
From time to time, it would be useful to clear the folder
C:\Documents and Settings\[USER]\My documents\My Games\Company of Heroes\LogFiles
For old CD/DVD users:
If the .bat does not work for unknown reason try to create your own shortcut:
- Create a shortcut of relicCOH.exe- Right-click on the shortcut and go to "Properies"
- In the Shortcut tab change the Target line by adding the following command after the brackets:
"-mod NHCTOV -dev" (without the brackets)
ex: "C:\program files\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCoH.exe" - mod NHCTOV -dev
- Use this shortcut to start the mod
uninstallation: just click on the uninstaller
If you have the error message "Game is not being run as a known company of heroes product. try again by launching from steam" :
It may be because you have an antivirus that prevent the bat files to run the command "RelicCOH.exe -mod NHCToV -dev".
To go around that, make sure the mod was installed in the right folder, on the launching options from steam,
In library > on the left menu of your game list, right-click on company of heroes > property > general > define launching option you can add the command
-mod NHCToV -dev
or
-mod Combiner_Beta -dev for the combiner
This would run the mod. You would have to remove that command for running other mods.
If the game crashes with a report to Relic before getting to the main menu. It means that there is a conflict with another mod.
The easiest way to solve it is to delete the other mods. The other is to find the .ucs in the folders:
CoH\Locale\English
CoH\Engine\Locale\English
RelicOnline\Locale\English
that is not made by Relic (i.e. by the bad mod) and move it apart.

Disclaimer: You can play as British but British AI (with or against you) will cause a crash. You can continue playing after pushing the 'pause' button. I have no idea why EF British AI is buggy in the combiner.
- Updated the code for EF 3.5 (module, scar, rgd)
- Changed new EF critical types for infantry to default infantry critical types (infantry, sniper, heroic)

- Wrecked Haunebu cannot be crushed for easier recovery

Strange EF bug I guess, on which map and what were the other players' factions?
Thanks for reporting, thanks to you I have identified an old bug of the original Company of Heroes : Tales of Valor that has never been patched that prevented the AI to use the staghound stun ammunition and the Tiger Ace long range shot. EF tried to fix it but their fix made it worse and crash the game. I have reported the issue on their Discord and how to fix it correctly.

if this mod could somehow get ported over to Steam like Blitzkrieg was, i'd be happy, because my laptop block it from running from this website, says it's a "Dangerous program." (the guest that said this was me before i joined,) :3
