So I don't really have the time anymore to figure out why I can't host servers but I've been trying to get this game active again and it would really help if someone could maybe set up a dedicated server that's always on so I have a server to play with people/others to play on.

Could anyone do this? :v

Hey guys, good to see some life back in here. Remember that there is a bug where a dedicated server will unregister after a few days. Right now, you'll just have to restart the server every day. Not a great solution, I know. I'll have this fixed in the next version.

Also, if you can't connect to the server through the in-game browser, try finding the server's IP:PORT at Online.codagame.com . Once you have the IP:PORT you can start up Coda, press '~' to bring down the console, and type:
open IP:PORT
where IP is the Address of the server from the server page and PORT is the port number from the same page. This will connect directly to the server instead of using the in-game menu.

So the server isn't online, so we're back to waiting for the next version of Coda aren't we ;x

Sorry, I'll put up the dedicated server now, I honestly forgot :c

You may want to put up direct connect information in case it doesn't show up on the tracker.

Ah nice! I'm glad to see that coda isn't dead, yet :D
I'd love to play with all of you again! It's been far too long!

The problem when I host a dedicated server is that I myself cannot play with you guys, I can only play when I just normally host a room and I've been told it's a bit laggy.

I have a server up right now (or not, something broke somewhere and I don't have time to figure it out, sorry :(), east us for an idea of how your ping will be.

It'd help if the devs would release that hotfix for the server unregistration bug ;). (Desura release would be nice too :D)

What's the server IP!!!!!

Just as a note, when you make a server, you HAVE to post the IP for it SOMEWHERE. There's apparently a bug with 1.3 where the server will unregister itself with the master server after a certain amount of time. So you either do routine server resets (like Krussell did) or you have direct connect information. Directions are in Krussell's post above.
