The world is broken. Chaos and fear swept nations as they turned against one another. As the arms race accelerates, they developed robotics facilities in order to develop powerful and sophisticated armies of machines. However, things go wrong as an unseen force subverts those armies and turns their own creations against them. Sundering any chance of peace for mankind. Two droids are rebooted after years and awaken to see a derelict robotics facility. The duo must work together to traverse the hazards by solving puzzles that focus on colour coordination and skill, in order to find the truth of what happened to the facility, and the identity of the danger lurking just out of their reach.

We've finally got our Indie DB page up and running! We're still a bit green behind the ears, but we've got lots to show!

So without further adieu, we'd like to introduce ourselves. We are DevOrDie Studios. We are a small independent development team in Melbourne, Australia. In 2016, we started the production of a small game called Chroma Shift, a colour-focused puzzle platformer.

In the space of a few months, we managed to show off a playable demo of our game at PAX Australia 2016. Where we also released our teaser trailer.

Since then, we started working on this project of ours full-time. Now, one year on, we intend to come back to PAX with more. And this time, we've got a brand new trailer to show off. One that explores what exactly is happening to our world. More importantly, we have a release window!

We'll be sure to show off more of our game as we continue to refine it. So be sure to keep tabs on us! Thank you so much for checking us out, you can have a better look at Chroma Shift on our website.

Turning game development into our full-time job after showing a cool demo at a convention is our dream, so it's nice to see someone who actually did it posting an article here!

Both teasers got me very interested in the story for the game, so I'll be sure to watch you folks. I couldn't really understand the gameplay very well on the first one, so I'll be looking forward to any content that demonstrates that a bit better.

Cheers!
- Lucas

Thank you so much for the kind words Lucas! I'm so proud of my team so far! Although the release is coming so soon, there's still so much work to be done, and we're so pumped for it. I just took a gander at Rune, and it looks fantastic! We'll be keeping an eye on that too!

Well wishes,
- James
