This is a nice 8 player map.
It has a similar feel to it has the 8 player official map 'Rocktagon'.
Like Rocktagon it can be played has a FFA, 2v2v2v2 or 4 vs 4.
Each player has a uncontested tiberium spike, and then there is the contested spike which is in a similar position to where it is on Rocktagon.
Each player then has an expansion blue field, and then finally in an elevated area there is the large central green field.
The addition of expansion blue fields mean that of course, the primary focus will be on harvesting on them, rather than quickly setting up on the large central green field.
There are 8 tech gun platforms, that are dotted around the map. They are in lone positions near the blue expansion fields, whether you feel they are worth capturing is up to you.
The large central area that contains the green field suffers slightly from "cannot build here" syndrome. Also in the central area there are some rocks that can cause the harvester AI to not automatically go for tiberium that is too close to them causing the dreaded harvester stall bug.
All in all this is a good 8 player map that is worth a download.
PS: No, crates do not work!
