Dawn of the Tiberium Age (DTA) is a stand-alone mod that combines Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95) and Red Alert. While classic mode gets as close to the original game-play and balance as possible, Enhanced mode provides improved game balance and a lot of fun new stuff. DTA features many customization options for Skirmish and multiplayer (where you can play as GDI, Nod, Allies and Soviet on over 200 maps), challenging original singleplayer missions, as well as co-op missions. Since this is a stand-alone mod, you don't require anything but the mod itself to be able to play: the original game is not required.
Description
This is the full version of Dawn of the Tiberium Age v5.7.9: all files necessary to play are included, so you also don't need to have the original game installed. To install, simply extract all files to an empty folder and then run DTA.exe to play.

is this the dowload for mac? if no, where can i find one?
Only Windows is supported right now. There are plans for introducing a Mac / Linux version later on though, and it is already possible to get the current version to run if you're ready to tinker a bit with Wine and some tricks.
i downloaded the game, and i tried to use porting kit to play it but it doesn't work. how do i use porting kit to play it?
I don't know, I use Windows 10 myself.

I don't think a porting kit is necessary. I tried running XWIS RA2YR straight from the install directory and it worked fine. Same with vanilla NR2003. Now, for CnCNet, I think it works the same way, but I can't get .NET Framework and other necessary components right now.
menu disappearing and loading games are still the problems
Every time I try to load a game it just reloads the main menu.
NVM had another game.exe running in Windows 7 in my task manager and that's why. Looking forward to trying the new DTA!
Yeah, the game will indeed refuse to start when you already have any Tiberian Sun, Red Alert 2 or Yuri's Revenge mod (or the original game itself) running in the background.
Hi there. Posting system requirements on the download page would be useful! I'll experiment with Wine to get it to run on Mac. Any experiences with that would be nice to read.
The "official" system requirements are basically just Windows; any modern PC can run the game itself.
On Wine, install .NET Framework 4.0, XNA Framework Redistributable 4.0 Refresh and run the client with compatibility settings for Windows XP. I've heard that it works at least on Crossover that way, not sure about Wine though.
For Linux, you would need Mono amd64 in order to install .NET Framework on Wine. My mono, unfortunately, is broken. More information can be found here: Ppmforums.com

wine doesn't support drm protected files. This is the same issue with "MentalOmegaClient" as well - which I guess using the same XNA client framework.
@Bittah_Commander is there any way you could replace those files with non DRM ones?
They don't have DRM in them. XNA just shows it in the error message regardless, even if the reason for not being able to play those songs is something else.
where do i find the DTA.exe file?
Inside the folder where you extract the downloaded file.

It's a stand-alone mod created using the Tiberian Sun engine. Just extract the ZIP file to an empty directory, run DTA.exe from the directory and enjoy.

You need to start DTA.exe, not Game.exe.
I choice DTA.exe not Game.exe.
Understand Game.exe make except.txt file.
DTA.exe run but error message that's why I try Game.exe.
