Burst! is the indie rhythm game for garage/unsigned musicians! In it, players detonate fireworks to the beat and, as they progress, unlock elements off the Periodic Table to increase their firework color palates. These are the same elements that give their colors to real life fireworks! The goal of Burst! is to build a fun game that will also spark the love for local/garage/unsigned musicians and show how STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering and Math) can be incorporated into non-educational games in compelling ways! We also feature a 3D recreation of a real world bridge undergoing restoration (Great Falls, MT's Historic 10th Street Bridge) and a portion of the final game's sales will go towards that cause! We're currently going for crowd funding for Burst! on Product Funder and rewards include the game, the soundtrack, a Vita skin and more! Our initial plans are to release on PlayStation Mobile, and we're developing in Unity. Check it out and lt us know what you think!

Description

This is how Burst! started in 2011, as a Flash prototype. As you can see, something like 60% of the screen is UI/buttons--and we got a lot of complaints about that. So, we ripped it apart when we started rebuilding it in Unity 3D so that it'd be almost 80% clear screen to see the fireworks!
