Bridge Construction Set Demo - Linux
DemoBridge Construction Set free five level demo for Linux
Bridge Construction Set is about building a bridge that doesn't break, although watching your bridge creation break and plunge a train into the watery depths below can be half the fun. In Bridge Construction Set you design and build bridges and then stress test them to see how your creations hold up under pressure. When test vehicles pass over your bridge and make it safely across you know you've succeeded. If they plummet into the river you know you need to go back to the drawing board. The robust physics deployed in Bridge Construction Set let you build a unlimited variety of bridges. Try your hand at giant suspension bridges, complex drawbridges, multi-level train and automobile bridges and everything in between. The 3D graphics allow you to view your bridge from any angle including a first person view - it's like being strapped to the front of the train when your bridge is first tested... This was made in 2002 and I still like it way more than Bridge Constructor. I have to agree with everyone else though. $20 is too much for a game that is over 10 years old.

There's another more popular version of almost exactly this game on iDevices and I believe they even sell it here for like half the price, isn't there? Judging by some of the bridge collapses, the physics engine under the hood isn't even as good as Bridge Constructor. I appreciate the work that goes into a game, good, bad or ugly, but this needs considerable depth and gameplay improvements before trying to charge twenty dollars. Cut it in half and at least acknowledge that there's competition out there.
$25 thats stupid just cause it has 3d grahpics dont make it worth that much money
I thought this game was going to be free or something, but 20$. No way.
15EUR ahahaha.... no thanks, this should have been released under GNU GPL 5 years ago.
I really loved the demo, but this game is way too expensive. I'd consider $10, but I'd instantly buy it at $5.
$20? Whaaa? This game came out years ago as shareware and was only $10 then! There is an updated version with modern 3D graphics floating around out there. Its basically this same game with better graphics and a full editor. Why is this version so expensive (relative) on here?
Will the game be free?
I recall it being released already, i think theres a demo around somewhere.
