Early this week, the Bombsweeper demo was released on IndieDB. Demo v0.10 contains 2 levels and does not represent the final version. v0.11 will be posted this week. Click the button below to download v0.10.
At the Creator's Meeting today at Redkix Games, the multiplayer functionality for Bombsweeper was discussed in more detail. Co-Game Director Michael Boudreaux stated at the meeting:
Michael_Boudreaux wrote: [The] multiplayer functionality for Bombsweeper hopefully can be developed. However, we cannot promise anything. The multiplayer might be up and running AFTER the full game is released. However, we will still work on finding a way to create a multiplayer.
Elsewhere, Redkix Games has not heard back from Steam nor Desura on whether they will publish Bombsweeper. Bombsweeper was submitted into Desura last night. Steam's response should be received later this week. However, Redkix Games will accept both deals from Steam and Desura if possible. Desura's response should be received by this weekend. If we hear anything, we'll post some news about it. Until then, carry on!
