Description
Blue Heaven is an adults-only action-RPG mixed with Hack & Slash that tells a bloody story from the perspective of an asocial and nihilist mercenary who works enforcing the law in a decadent futuristic cyberpunk universe where good and evil are almost indistinguishable and dirty sex, deadly drugs and decomposing corpses are easy to find in the dark alleys of every metropolis. Soon he will have to leave his world behind and explore unknown lands to save by force of sword the last bit of humanity he has left, finding himself involved in a conflict of unforeseeable magnitudes.
History
The director of Brainworm Games has always loved cyberpunk and post-apocalyptic universes like Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Blade Runner, Flashback or Beneath a Steel Sky. Many years ago he wrote some stories about a future world in which Humanity returned back to the Middle Ages after a global war, but those writings remained kept into a drawer until the end of 2015. Then he wanted to revive such ideas and put them in a videogame with the aim of transmitting the same feelings as in his previous stories: showing the animality of humans. The development started on October 2016, when the team was complete.
