Description

Explosives are an extremely important part of your arsenal, especially in the early game when you only have a couple of weapons, and they all suck. Operation is pretty simple; hit F to cycle through them, click and hold to determine throw distance.

Explosives draw from a universal ammunition reserve; no matter which you use, the same number decreases. It's also what is consumed by secondary grenade launchers. Explosive ammo is surprisingly common and you can carry quite a few at once, so don't be afraid to use them liberally. You'll need to.

Oh yeah, you aren't the only one who uses these. Grunts love throwing dynamite and stick grenades, while Sniper Hooligans like to leave C4 behind while they retreat.

In cycle order:

- Dynamite, ignited with your trusty lighter, explodes directly on impact. This is probably the most useful in direct combat. Right mouse drops it directly at your feet for an instant grenade jump!
- Stick Grenades have a short fuse, and detonate soon after. As these are physics-enabled projectiles, you can bounce them around corners. If you press right mouse, you start cooking the grenade, which you can then throw as normal.
- The C4 Bomb adheres to surfaces or enemies when thrown, and detonates with the G button at any time.
