Blood 2 went awry from Blood 1 with the premise of a modern corporation- Cabalco. My theory and opinion was that the lab and office levels were meant to showcase the LithTech Engine's potential for developers of games with diametrically opposed themes. These new mods
deal strictly with how those levels look and do not interfere whatsoever with any other person's tweaks or mods to date. Resources were derived entirely from what Monolith provided in the rez files. I thought to transform the complexion of the game first, then go about tweaking the code and making levels; the latter I admit is a project that for me is in it's infancy. No programming experience was necessary, because I have none yet!
The Blood Noir Modifications 6/14/1999
CDMNOIR overlays levels 05 and 5b. Status- done.
CASNOIR overlays levels 06 and 6b. Status- 90%. Just an hour or so of work to go.
CABNOIR overlays levels 17 and 19-23 Status- 50%. I might have to split this up.

How To
------
Move or copy CDMNOIR.REZ to your Blood2 Custom file. When you start the game, make sure you go into "Customize" and load the file! The order in which you place it with other rez files you may have loaded there makes no difference.
The Added Premise
-----------------
The Cabal has suffered so many losses at Caleb's hands that they are constructing replicants and cybernetic decoys. Obviously, Caleb must sort them out. All in a day's work.
The Full Effect
---------------
If you really want the whole enchilada, get BROOKLYN.REZ
BKLYN.ZIP=BROOKLYN.REZ (Which can be found via PlanetBlood, The Crypt, or FilePlanet)
Even this mod will not interfere with other mods! By the time you reach level 5, you'll
see how nicely the two work together.
Excerpted from the Readme:
Male Civilians
--------------
I switched around some wav scripts and added some new ones. I added the 4th skin and replaced the others with Biosuits.
Lab Techs
---------
I gave them Biosiuts also, but the skin stretching over the lab coat tails shrunk the mask window and didn't look right. I switched the model to Male Civilian. Plus- they don't grab their necks when you shoot them in the foot!
Bone Leech and Thief
--------------------
I switched both with the Rat model and skin, but could not get the "warning" wavs to load. But when you are attacked, you get the familiar Blood 1 rat sound. As Bone Leeches, the Rat is more visible. As a Thief, somewhat less. Use your NightVision if your eyesight isn't too hot.
Shikari
-------
I switched the model and sound with the Behemoth. It's not perfect because it carries some of the bugs of the Shikari but I think you'll find the concept works overall and makes sense.
