Blaze is a retro/minimalistic styled sci-fi first person flight/shooter action game. The game can be played almost single handedly with just mouse. It's about shooting a lot of alien things (in semi-randomized missions?). The alien things are trying capture all your base, and have already captured at least half of it. You have to defend the base and capture the alien controlled areas back. Or something like that...
All the Ammo items got some fullbrighted areas (maybe that one item needs some more), so you can find them in darker areas too. Main weapon ammo items come in 2 sizes. Support weapon ammos are 1 size only. Enemies may drop those smaller items.
The weapons didn't have any fullbrights... But they probably appear next to some lights anyway. The weapons that appear double in the view also appear double in the item.
They all rotate / get some random angles.
Changed the Upper HUD text bright. Maybe it's a bit clearer what's what in it, but maybe now the Overload and Warning kinda look like.. are they already active?
What is with the new textures and look?
The new look is something I used with some Doom model/texture pack I was making at the start of the summer. It was pretty fun and fast. I was able to replace all weapons, all items, some monsters and some decorations in just a couple weeks, plus also did some textures, sounds for the weapons and few levels.
As I keep changing stuff every few months, because of getting bored or whatever.. maybe with this kind of simple style I can get it done before I want to change it again.
I liked the old style better.
