We know it has been quite some time since our last public update, but this little bit of news should hopefully tide some over. However, if you're one of the many who are waiting for a large media blitz, then you will have to wait just a bit longer. Progress has been occurring for the last few months at an astounding pace and we're very excited about what we will show in the next coming months. We have been hard at work at getting some new content in the game, including a re-design of some of the maps and the inclusion of some new characters. We hope to show you very soon!
However, in the meantime we would like to announce a rather significant change to the project's title! The project will no longer be referred to by our internal code name of Berimbau, but instead will become....
We're very excited to announce the official name for this project. Versus: Blind Edge is symbolic of the atmosphere and attitude that the project has received. To clarify, Berimbau is the name of the project from an internal standpoint, while Versus: Blind Edge is what we hope you will enjoy in the near future! This chosen name represents the fighting style of the game and gives a little bit of insight into the universe.
We would love to show some media to you, but our secret 'benefactors' have been making sure everything is under wraps for now. Expect a big news update soon, with lots of good stuff to show off. In the interim, we'd like to offer you a series of wallpapers, entitled 'Choose Your Stance' showing off the many different combat stances available in Versus: Blind Edge, as well as our finished Ninja-Knight player model.
We hope this gives you a taste of what you can expect in our upcoming media releases and look forward to showing you what we have in store!

Very nice character design and those stances look sweet. I already like the battousai like stance but cannot wait to just play around with all the different stances and combos. Gahhhh.... I can't wait, this is one of my top awaited mods since I love good melee systems :)
Great choice for a new name (though I'll always refer to it in my mind as Berimbau), the new model looks awesome as well.
